Connect to QuickBooks

Follow these steps to authorize EXIZIP to access your QuickBooks Online account.

First-time connection

  1. Install EXIZIP

    Install EXIZIP from the Chrome Web Store and open it by clicking its icon in the Chrome toolbar.

  2. Click "Connect QuickBooks"

    In the extension popup, click the Connect QuickBooks button.

  3. Sign in with Intuit

    A browser window opens on Intuit's official login page. Enter your QuickBooks Online credentials directly on Intuit's site — they are never seen or stored by EXIZIP.

  4. Authorize access

    Review and approve the permissions requested. EXIZIP requests access to your QuickBooks accounting data to retrieve your invoice list and download invoice PDFs.

  5. Return to EXIZIP

    After you authorize, the browser window closes automatically and you are returned to the EXIZIP popup, now connected to your QuickBooks account. You can begin selecting and exporting invoices immediately.

Your QuickBooks credentials are entered directly on Intuit's login page and are never transmitted to or stored by Stanrell.

Reconnecting

QuickBooks OAuth authorizations expire over time or may be revoked. If EXIZIP indicates that your connection has expired or is no longer valid:

  1. Open EXIZIP

    Click the EXIZIP icon in the Chrome toolbar.

  2. Follow the reconnect prompt

    The extension will indicate that reconnection is required. Click the reconnect button shown in the popup.

  3. Re-authorize with Intuit

    Complete the same authorization steps as a first-time connection.
