EXIZIP

Disconnect from QuickBooks

How to remove EXIZIP's access to your QuickBooks Online account.

Disconnecting from the extension

The primary way to disconnect EXIZIP is directly from within the extension:

  1. Open EXIZIP

Click the EXIZIP icon in the Chrome toolbar to open the popup.

  2. Click "Disconnect"

While connected, the extension displays a Disconnect button. Click it to begin the disconnection process.

  3. Connection removed

EXIZIP removes your connection data from Stanrell's backend server and requests that Intuit revoke the associated authorization token. The extension returns to its disconnected state. Your QuickBooks account and data are not affected.

Disconnecting deletes your connection record (including the encrypted refresh token) from Stanrell's servers and requests token revocation from Intuit. If the revocation request to Intuit cannot be completed due to a network issue, the local connection data is still deleted from our backend.

Managing connected apps from Intuit

You can also manage which applications have access to your QuickBooks Online account directly from within QuickBooks. Intuit provides a section in your account settings where you can view and revoke access for connected applications. Revoking access from within QuickBooks will deauthorize EXIZIP's OAuth tokens at the Intuit level.

If you revoke access from within QuickBooks and then wish to use EXIZIP again, you will need to reconnect. See the Connect page for instructions.

Data deletion

When you disconnect from within EXIZIP, your connection record is deleted from Stanrell's backend. This includes the encrypted refresh token and associated connection metadata. No invoice PDF content or ZIP archives are stored on Stanrell's servers at any point — they exist only on your computer.

For questions about data handling or to request manual deletion of any residual data, contact hello@stanrell.com.
